The premium Syncamatic synchronization service is subscription-based and is provided "as is". A Syncamatic subscription can be purchased from the BlackBerry App World store or the official Syncamatic web site.
All purchases and refunds from the BlackBerry App World are provided by Research In Motion(RIM) and its partners.
Syncamatic subscriptions may be subject to certain country, state, local or other relevant taxes. Annual subscribers to Syncamatic (as well as subscribers to multi-month subscriptions, should such subscription terms become available) shall have thirty (30) days from the date of subscription to cancel their subscription for a full refund. Subscribers who have selected monthly subscriptions to Syncamatic shall have five (5) days from the date of subscription to cancel their subscription for a full refund.
It is the subscriber's responsibility to apply for a refund. A refund does not automatically occur when a subscriber cancels a subscription or deletes an account. And for privacy and security reasons, the subscriber MUST cancel the subscription or delete the account actively BEFORE applying for a refund. To apply for a refund, subscribers must : 1) Log into their account 2) Cancel the subscription (back to free service) or Delete the account (completely remove all data) 3) Go to the Support page and submit a ticket for the refund.
After the cancellation period, purchases of Syncamatic subscriptions become FINAL and non-refundable, except in Pureinbox's sole and absolute discretion. If an account is cancelled or terminated by the subscriber or by Pureinbox™, for any reason, the subscribers will lose and forfeit the remaining time of their subscription.
Monthly and annual subscriptions have an auto-renewing subscription default setting. This means that for monthly subscribers, their subscription will be automatically renewed each month until such time that the subscriber cancels his or her subscription. Annual subscribers will be notified, prior to the anniversary of their subscription date, that their subscription is being renewed and that they will be charged the prevailing rate for the subscription renewal. Pureinbox™ may offer shorter or longer term subscriptions which will also default to auto-renew. The subscriber will have the ability to cancel any future renewals as initiated by the automatically-renewing subscription feature.
Refunds will not be given for the following reasons:
- Incompatibility with BlackBerry devices or Microsoft Outlook application. Syncamatic continues to list all of the compatible BlackBerry devices and desktop applications on their website. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that his/her devices are listed as being compatible with the Syncamatic applications and services. PureInbox does not guarantee the performance, features, compatibility, and accessibility of the Syncamatic service. PureInbox™ provides a free trial for users to test and ensure the compatibility of their devices before purchasing a subscription.
- Third party ISP, firewall, website and/or applications blocking the user from accessing Syncamatic services. This may occur if the user is blocked from Syncamatic services by any software/hardware that is beyond the control of PureInbox™: for example, your local IT Administrators, firewall applications, or gateway routers. PureInbox™ provides a free trial for users to test and ensure the compatibility of their devices before purchasing a subscription.
- All purchases from the BlackBerry App World store are provided by Research In Motion(RIM). Financial transactions, billing and refund methods are exclusively provided by RIM. It is the subscriber's responsibility to contact the BlackBerry App World and apply for eligible refunds. Pureinbox&trade does not have ability to assist or deny the availability of refund when the subscription is purchased through BlackBerry App World.
For customers who have purchased a Premium version of Syncamatic from a third party vendor (app store), please contact your vendor to request a refund.
